UCC lauded for move on stem-cell research

“A British expert on medical ethics last night congratulated University College Cork (UCC) for its “admirable move” in approving the use of embryonic stem-cell research at the campus. Speaking at a debate on stem-cell research at UCC last night, Baroness Mary Warnock said scientists had an absolute duty to ‘proceed on this path of human compassion’.
