Law student dies after being crushed by car in freak accident

“A young law student died in a freak accident after a handbrake was apparently released on a parked car so it could be moved – only for it to then roll on to him, crushing him against a nearby wall. Kevin Malone (21), from Limerick, suffered the injuries in the tragic accident on Cork’s Magazine Road. The emergency services attended the scene within minutes and the young man was rushed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital (CUH). However, despite desperate efforts by doctors to stabilise his condition, he died a short time later.
