Holy Land trouble to be discussed at Assembly

UK“The ongoing problem of anti-social behaviour in the Holy Land will be raised in a debate at the Northern Ireland Assembly. South Belfast MLA Alex Maskey said he has tabled a private members bill at the assembly in a bid to tackle the issue. He met residents on Tuesday (April 21) to discuss the St Patrick’s Day riots in the area. Mr Maskey said the behaviour of a ‘minority’ of students was part of the problem, but not the sole cause. ‘Overcrowding, lack of community infrastructure and investment are also part of a wider problem,’ he said …” (more)
