One Response to “German under threat at QUB”

  1. Thomas Burke Says:

This is a stupid retrograde step. I suppose they are going to open up an Ulster Scots faculty with the savings. It was bad enough getting rid of Latin and the classics. How are our MLAs ever going to attain a high standard in communication íf we cut off the home source of their knowledge? We cannot ramble on senselessly in Gaelic and Ulster Scots foreven. Next move is likely to be the closure of the English department. Don’t be too philosophical or something else might tumble!
