Kennedy Summer School – Round Table Discussion on the Future of Higher Education – New Ross, 6 September

IrelandA high quality, responsive higher education system is crucial to delivering on our national ambitions for our economy and quality of life. As the new academic year begins, the Kennedy Summer School has gathered some of Ireland’s leading education professionals to examine the key challenges and opportunities facing our third-level institutions.

The Roundtable will be chaired by Professor Tom Collins. Participants will include: Professor Richard Aldous (Bard College, New York), Peter Cassells (Chair of the Expert Group on Future Funding for Higher Education), Professor Mary Daly (President, Royal Irish Academy), Professor Richard Hayes (Vice President for Strategy, Waterford Institute of Technology), Professor Brian MacCraith (President, Dublin City University), and Professor Kerstin Mey (Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Engagement, University of Limerick).
