ST University of the Year

The Sunday Times have for a number of years designated an Irish ‘University of the Year’, and (since 2011) an ‘IT of the year’.

Note that while this is announced at the same time as the League Table, it is a distinct award – the ‘University of the Year’ does not necessarily top the League (indeed, it usually doesn’t).
