“University presidents are partly to blame for the delay in college professors receiving backdated payments, the head of the union for third level teachers has said. General secretary of the Irish Federation of University Teachers (IFUT) Mike Jennings has criticised the fact that professors are the only group reviewed under the O’Brien Group not to have yet received their backdated pay increases.
