“NUIG and GMIT have not drawn up specific action plans to deal with the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, the Galway Independent has learned. However, both GMIT and NUIG said they would be following all guidelines issued by the HSE. A spokesperson for NUIG said, ‘We are currently ensuring a system is in place according to the National Pandemic Influenza Plan from the Department of Health.
