Study finds parental pressure affects university choices

“Research by students at the University of Westminster has found that a quarter of London’s university students felt pressured by their parents into choosing a particular degree course or institution. Of the 350 students polled, 25% said they had clashed with their families over which educational path to take, with many students regretting following their parents advice and wishing they had chosen a different university or course …” (more)
