This will end up as “affirmative action” won’t it, i.e. racist student acceptance policies. Travellers are underepresented at third level because 1. they do so poorly at school and 2. they don’t apply to go to third level.
Point me at one case of a traveller being denied a third level place purely because the were a traveller. You can’t because it has never happened.
